Cover 99% of Roofs.
Pricing is supplied-and-installed for a typical 200m² single-storey Brisbane home, May 2026. Region C cyclonic specs add ~15–25%.
Concrete Tile
Best for: Existing concrete tile homes. Restoration, repair, or full replacement keeping the same material.
Through-coloured cement and sand. Fades at 15–25 years and is often re-coated as part of restoration before full replacement.
Terracotta Tile
Best for: Heritage homes, character-listed properties, owners who want clay's natural patina without painting.
Kiln-fired clay holds colour for 50+ years with no painting needed. Heavier than concrete (~50 kg/m²) — structural check required on conversions.
Steel & Metal
Best for: Most replacements and conversions. Lighter than tile, longer warranty, six profile options below.
Colorbond is BlueScope's coating brand — not a profile. Up to 30-year perforation warranty, 20-year paint warranty.
Slate · Copper · Zinc
Best for: Architect-spec homes, true heritage restorations, owners who want the roof to outlast the mortgage twice.
Copper patinas brown to green over decades. Zinc forms a self-healing oxide layer. Both expand silently — no oil-canning, no fastener leaks.

When someone says “Colorbond roof,” they mean Colorbond steel rolled into one of these six profiles. The profile is the look. The coating is the colour and warranty. We install all six.
Custom Orb
The classic wavy corrugated. Iconic on Queenslanders, country sheds, and any home with a heritage feel.
Trimdek
Low trapezoidal rib — subtle, modern, the most-installed profile in suburban Australia.
Spandek
Deeper trapezoidal rib (~26mm). Strong-spanning, economical, a half-step toward architectural.
Klip-Lok 406
Concealed-fix narrow pan. No visible fasteners. The tighter rib look favoured by architects.
Klip-Lok 700
Concealed-fix wide pan. The square-ridge standing-seam look — modern, flat-pitch homes.
LongLine 305
True architectural standing seam, 50mm rib. The premium move when the roof is a design feature.
Plus Colorbond Ultra (severe marine), Coolmax (high solar reflectance), Stainless (extreme coastal), Matt (low-sheen). Twenty-two colours in the standard range.
Tile to Colorbond.
The single most-requested re-roof in Australia. Strip the old tiles. New steel battens. Sarking and insulation upgrade. Long-run Colorbond sheets in your colour. Custom flashings on-site.
Why most homeowners convert: a tile roof at 50 years is twice as heavy as steel at 50 years, and tile flexes more. Flex creates leaks. Steel doesn't flex.

Smaller Jobs.
Same Standard.
Mortar bed under the ridge cap fails first. Pointing fails before bedding. We replace both — flexible pointing over fresh bed.
Aged terracotta is a colour-match exercise — kiln batches drift over 30 years. We hold matched stock or source from yards when needed.
Water shows up two metres from where it gets in. We trace the actual path through battens and sarking. Two other roofers couldn't fix it. We hear that a lot.
Concrete tile fading is normal at 15+ years. Pressure-clean, repoint, two-coat membrane. Adds 8–12 years before full replacement.

Roll-formed Colorbond gutters sized to your catchment area. Brisbane gets more annual rainfall than London — we size for 100mm downpours, not drizzle.

One in three Australian homes has rooftop solar. If your roof has under ten years of life left, paying to remove and refit panels later costs more than re-roofing now. We do solar-prep installs with rail pre-positioning so your installer drops in clean.
