Storm Damage.
We Handle It.
Same-day make-safe tarp. Full photographic damage report for your insurer in the format they need. Direct relationships with every major Australian home insurer.
You don't chase the paperwork. You don't translate roofing jargon to your insurer. You make one call and we run the loop.
The Pipeline That
Hasn't Cleared Yet.
Sources: Insurance Council of Australia (ICA) — 2025 weather catastrophe report, IAG public disclosure on Cyclone Alfred. The 2025 catastrophe season was the heaviest in recorded AU history at 727% of 2024's total. Roof work from these events is still being processed.
We Speak
Their Language.
Every major insurer has a panel network and a preferred report format. We use both. You stay on the panel for a clean process, or cash-settle for scope flexibility — both are normal AU pathways.

Call Through Repair.
You Call · We Make Safe
Call us first. We tarp the damage same-day or next-day depending on weather. The make-safe is authorised by your insurer pre-assessment under almost every PDS — no waiting for an assessor before stopping the leak.
Damage Report
We photograph everything from the roof down. Drone shots, internal water tracking, structural notes. The report goes to your insurer in the format they need to authorise repair — not as a quote you have to translate.
Insurer Assessor
Their assessor visits. Most read our report and approve. If they push back on scope, we have it out in writing — that's why the photos and structural notes matter. CAT events stretch this timeline; non-CAT runs faster.
Repair · Or Cash Settle
If you stay on the insurer panel, we do the repair to the assessor's scope. If you cash-settle, you pay us direct and we can also handle scope upgrades the insurer won't cover (e.g. tile-to-Colorbond instead of like-for-like tile).
The Excess.
Pay Weekly Instead.
Most home policies have a $500–$2,000 excess on storm claims. If yours has gone up after a multi-claim year, it can be higher. You don't have to pay it as a lump sum.
Brighte interest-free finance covers excess amounts and any scope upgrade you want on top of the insurer's settlement. A $1,500 excess works out to roughly $7 a week over five years.

Panel Repair or
Cash Settle?
Stay On The Insurer's Track
Insurer pays us direct. We repair to the assessor's scope. You only ever pay your excess. Cleanest process, fastest claim closure.
Like-for-like repairs. Single-section storm damage. Homeowners who want zero paperwork friction.
Take The Settlement, Upgrade The Roof
Insurer pays you a cash figure. You hire us direct. The advantage: scope flexibility. The most common upgrade — using a storm-damaged tile claim to convert the whole roof to Colorbond.
Aged roofs near end-of-life. Anyone wanting to upgrade material rather than replace like-for-like.
Don't Wait For The Insurer.
Make-safe tarping is authorised pre-assessment under almost every PDS. Stop the leak first, claim second. Same-day response across Greater Brisbane.
